Religious Jubilees and the Commissioning Ceremony

On August 25, 2024, nine Slovak Sisters celebrated the 50th and 25th anniversaries
of their Profession in St. Bartholomew Church in Vrícko.
The principal celebrant of Holy Mass was
Msgr. Tomáš Galis, Bishop of the Žilina Diocese.

 

 

Many priests, Sisters and Associates came to celebrate with us.
Festivals and celebrations strengthen us
in the way of life we have chosen
and thus strengthen our own identity and that of the Community.

The Jubilarians gave their "YES" to God in our Congregation.
"Thank you, for your faithfulness to your life decision,
for your fidelity in your service as a Sister of the Divine Redeemer,
for your witness of faith and life in our Congregation,"
said the Superior General.

At the end of Holy Mass, the Superior General, Johanna Vogl,
thanked the former Provincial Leadership
and commissioned the new Provincial Leadership.

NEW PROVINCIAL LEADERSHIP

The new Provincial Leadership
received the cross as a symbol for the way through their term of office.
The Superior General encouraged the new Provincial Leadership, saying,
"May the cross, as the sign that encompasses the world,
always be a sign of uprightness, of moving forward and of hope.”
