The 25th anniversary of Profession is an unforgettable time for each Sister.
It is a time for thanksgiving for the calling to follow Jesus, looking back,
as well as looking forward and making a plan for the future.
From June 2-14, 2025, the General Leadership organized the Tertiate
(the formation meeting) for three groups of the Sisters of our Congregation –
Jubilarians of 2023, 2024, and 2025. The Tertiate was held during
the Church Jubilee Year, which Pope Francis announced for 2025.
This year, the city of Rome is expecting about 45 million visitors, who will travel
to Rome as "Pilgrims of Hope".
As pilgrims of hope, we also traveled to Rome with our 9 Sisters from
the Tertiate. The motto was: "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for he who promised is faithful." Heb 10:23
We prepared a balanced schedule – on one hand, a spiritual one and
on the other hand, an entertaining one.
The theme for the meeting in Rome was: Gratitude for the past, strength
for the present, and courage and hope for the future.
Although several Sisters knew Rome, there is always something to discover.
We set out on the journey as a community – we "discovered" Rome together.
This strengthened our solidarity and it also corresponded to our calling to be on the journey together.
The highlight was the meeting with the Holy Father in St. Peter's Square
at the Holy Mass on Pentecost and then at the Wednesday audience.
The Jubilarians of 2025, Sister Rudolfa and Sister Ľudovíta,
celebrated the 25th anniversary of their Profession during the Mass on June 7th,
in the St. Cyrile and Methodius Papal Slovak Institute and College in Rome.
We believe that these days have strengthened our common faith and vocation.
