In the afternoon, when the day was drawing to a close, our
Sister Maria Friedburga
Gertrud Schuch
entered into the light of eternal life.
She died at the age of 90 and the 69th year of her profession
in the Provincial House in Eisenstadt.
Sister Friedburga was a passionate kindergarten teacher.
Supporting children in their development and
awakening their trust in our guiding God was her mission
and content of life. Working with parents
and families strengthened her faith open to this world.
Later in her life, she was for many years
a prudent and friendly gatekeeper at the Province House,
familiar with illness and problems of old age.
We thank our Sister Friedburga for her willingness
to collaborate on the work of redemption.
